Beginning in the coastal wilderness of Northern California and reaching beyond to places like the smog-choked streets of Santiago de Chile and the teeming factories of Dhaka, Bangladesh, I empower sublime projects where others don’t look: from starting a nonprofit now celebrating two decades of innovative triumph, to developing a stop motion animated story made of brown cardboard.
